The Queensbury Masonic Historical Society facility was ravaged by vandals in the Summer of 2007. The Cub Scouts of Pack 17 came to the rescue and painted over the graffiti as a community service project.
Mayor Roy Akins visited with the Scouts during their labors to encourage them and provide guidance and leadership. Another Society member, Dan Saville, was instrumental in providing materials and guidance.
