The Annual Meeting of the Queensbury Masonic Historical Society was held on Tuesday, January 28, 2008 at the center in Queensbury. A turkey dinner (the last turkey of the season) preceded the meeting.

Guest speakers of the evening included:

Roy Akins, Mayor of the City of Glens Falls
Wayne Wright, City of Glens Falls Historian
Neil Akins, Chairman of the Glens Falls Centennial Committee

The topic of the evening included the many events that will take place this year to celebrate the Centennial in Glens Falls. Wayne Wright presented a slide show of photos taken in Glens Falls at the turn of the century.

At the conclusion of the presentation, the Society conducted its regular annual business.

Election of Trustees:

Fred Doscher elected to five year term (replace himself)
Emil Lindstrand elected to five year term (new vacancy)

Election of Officers for 2008:

Fred Doscher, President
Emil Lindstrand, Vice President
Allan M. Bryant, Secretary-Treasurer
